| | The League is partnering with the Alameda County Bar Association for a candidate forum for District Attorney candidates on October 19th at 5pm.
Please register to attend this forum or submit questions ahead of time for the candidates.

| | | What Lies Ahead for Ukraine? Current Situation and Prospects
Wednesday, November 2nd at 5pm PT | | Please join us on Wednesday, November 2nd at 5pm Pacific time for a presentation and Q&A with former Ambassador Steven Pifer. Before Russia’s invasion, Ambassador Pifer correctly predicted that Putin would attack and that Ukrainians would fight back - hard.
He is an expert on arms control and disarmament and is perfectly situated to assess possible nuclear escalation in Ukraine. He will present insights on the political and military situation in Ukraine, as well as the most likely trajectory for the war.
