Highly respected epidemiologist Dr. George Rutherford followed up with the League of Women Voters of Piedmont to discuss his latest findings on COVID-19 and its variants. He presented statistics of current COVID-19 rates on global, state, and local levels. In addition, Dr. Rutherford provided updates on vaccination status, advice on continuing safe practices during these trying times, and a layman's explanation behind the biology of the virus.
