Candidate Forums for November 2022 General Election
Join the League of Women Voters of Piedmont (LWVP) in September and October for candidate forums featuring candidates for local Piedmont, Alameda County, and Special District elections who will be on the ballot for Piedmont residents in the November 8, 2022 General Election. These forums are hosted by LWVP in conjunction with Leagues in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

learn more about these forums on our Election Forums page. Registration is required to attend the live virtual forums. After each forum, the recording will be available on our website and our
YouTube channel. A list of upcoming candidate forums is below.
Each forum will be moderated by a League representative and will include questions from the public. You may submit a question by filling out the online forms on our
Election Forums page at least one day prior to the forum. Questions will be screened by a team of League members to ensure a range of topics and issues.

WHAT's on your ballot and
HOW,
WHEN, and
WHERE to vote. A ballot will be mailed to every registered voter starting October 10, 2022. If you have moved or changed your party or your name, you can
update your registration online. Same day registration is also available in person through election day, November 8, 2022.
In Alameda County, you have 3 ways to vote: 1) Mail your ballot, 2) Drop off your ballot at a
secure ballot Drop Box in the county, or 3) Vote in person or drop off your ballot at any
Vote Center in the county. The list of Vote Centers will be updated as the Registrar of Voters confirms the sites. There will likely be a Vote Center in Piedmont at the Veteran's Memorial Building at 401 Highland Avenue that will be open 9am to 5pm from November 5th through 7th, and 7am to 8pm on November 8th. A limited number of Vote Centers will also be open 9am to 5pm starting October29th.
In addition to candidates, there will be one Alameda County ballot measure and seven state propositions on the ballot this election. The League is proud to provide Pros & Cons for these ballot measures to help voters prepare for the election. Visit our
