LWVP Launches its 3rd Annual Essay Contest

The League of Women Voters of Piedmont is proud to be sponsoring its
third annual essay contest
open to all high school juniors and seniors who are either 1) currently enrolled in Piedmont High School or Millennium High School or 2) residents of Piedmont, California.
This year's 250-500 word essays must be submitted by April 20, 2022 and answer the questions,
“Should monetary political contributions be treated as ‘speech’ that deserves First Amendment protection? What actions should the League of Women Voters take with respect to this issue?”
There is a $500 prize awarded to the first place entry. For more information and to submit an essay, visit
